Patient Nav­i­ga­tor

If you are a patient of Onslow Radiation Oncology, you have access to the patient navigator program. The Onslow Radiation Oncology Patient Navigation Program helps to eliminate and reduce barriers to cancer care. Our skilled Patient Navigator will help patients “navigate” through the health care system. Too often patients are lost in the system after screening because of missed appointments, financial problems, and other barriers. Through one-on-one contact, the oncology patient navigator is trained to work with oncology patients to help them solve problems. They work with patients to anticipate and address obstacles and connect patients with community resources, support, and healthcare education.

If you have a patient who would benefit from navigation services, please contact our Oncology Nurse Navigator at Onslow Radiation Oncology by calling 910-577-4908. You can also make a formal referral by faxing patient information to Onslow Radiation Oncology at 910-577-4910.
